FAQ
Why are your prints so cheap?
I am partnered with a fantastic printer who has given me a great price on high quality prints. Unlike other photographers who market their prints upwards of 300% to 400% I pass the savings on to you.
Are my pictures done yet?!
Approximately 10% of photography is spent behind the camera. That means that the other 90% is spent editing and working on the photos. I am super critical of my work and I only give my clients the best, therefore it might be a while before you get your finished product. Please also take into consideration that I am still in the learning process and that every photo-shoot presents itself with a new set of challenges. However, feel free to contact me to see how the progress is going, and if you are feeling super antsy I can put up what I have finished so far in the clients gallery and keep updating it with my progress.
Why do you give out your digital negatives?
I believe that in this digital age, people should have there digital photos in a digital form so that they can do with them what they want. Most photographers will only include prints with their packages and the negatives can be purchased at a very steep price.
What can I do with my digital photos?
Anything you want. Feel free to post them to face-book or myspace, your own website, have prints made, photoshop them yourself or e-mail them to friends/family. Although the photos remain Copyright Eric Taylor & Grand View Photography I give my clients full rights to the photos so that you can do with them what you wish.
Can I have prints made at Walgreens/Costco/etc…?
Yes, I give my clients full printing rights. If you would like to print them all your self then go ahead. However I do invite you to take a look at the prices of my printing services. They are extremely reasonable for the level of quality prints that you will receive. I can do large volumes with ease and even offer a wide verity of choices, including: Canvas wraps, luster finish, glossy finish, matte finish, every large size, and rounded wallets.
How can I get re-prints?
Simply e-mail me a list of the photos with the 4 to 5 digit image identifier number. (You can find the number on the photo in the clients gallery or as the file name of the photo on your CD/DVD.)
I will also need the quantity of the photos and the sizes. Check out the packages page for a list of sizes. I do offer more sizes than the ones listed. Just ask, and I will get you a quote.
My wedding is going to be really small/I am not going to have a very long wedding, do you have any other packages?
I don’t offer any other packages at the moment and I really like to keep my pricing tier simple, but if you contact me I’m sure that we can agree on a price that best suits your needs.
I don’t want a photo book or slideshow/prints can you bring down the price?
If you shop around you will see that my prices are already very low but if you contact me with any special need I am sure that you can find a price that best suits your needs.
What do your wedding slideshows look like?
Take a look at some of the slideshows from previous clients to get an idea of what your wedding slideshow will look like.

What is the difference between Glossy and Luster finish?
Luster is semi-glossy and good for photo books and places where they will be handled because they will not show finger prints and are more durable.
Glossy is… well.. glossy, and it is best use picture frames and places there they will not be handled by human hands. Glossy photos tend to look crisper and have richer colors.
What do your photo albums look like?
Take a look at some of my previous albums to get a taste of what yours might look like. Note that all of my albums are different and I try my best to get them to match the wedding theme and colors.
