This boat is called a “Shikara Walla” . Photo taken on my trip to India in June ‘07 In Kashmir on Dal Lake. We rode on these boats to get from our house boat that we were staying in to the main street. It’s really neat how half the houses in the city are floating on the lake and they use these boats like water taxis to get all over.
